So a coworker of mine's brother is having a baby which only means one thing - baby shower! His wife asked me to make the cakes for the shower. The mother-to-be had a multiple theme of Winnie the Pooh and Minnie Mouse. Here is the Winnie the Pooh cake. This cake was my first experiment with marshmallow fondant - amazing stuff! And yes that Winnie the Pooh is hand drawn (or should I say piped?). I designed this cake myself and it is one of the best cakes I think I have made to this day! Red velvet cake with buttercream frosting and covered in marshmallow fondant. Buttercream icing details.
